2017 FED UP! Event in Washington DC

Announcing the FED UP! International Overdose Awareness Day Event in Washington DC

2017 marks half a decade of unifying families, organizations, and allies from across our nation who’ve stood together in an alliance to end the opioid epidemic. With another year of increased deaths and the change of power in our federal government, this year we’re planning a series of events nationwide on August 31, 2017, International Overdose Awareness Day — a day of remembrance and awareness, recognized worldwide. To send the greatest impact, we’ve updated the agenda to include a press conference, networking, a candlelight vigil for those we’ve lost and a march to the White House.

We’re FED UP! and we’re calling for immediate, coordinated and comprehensive federal action to end the epidemic of addiction and overdose deaths attributed to opioids.
